Anju Uchima, Of Counsel
Anju Uchima is a litigator with decades of experience in all phases of commercial litigation and arbitration. In his recent work on art-related matters, he has represented art collectors, a major auction house, and a leading not-for-profit art educational and research institution in disputes involving title and restitution, authenticity and authentication, and auction consignments and other contracts. Mr. Uchima’s work on the difficult and diverse disputes that arise over art assets draws upon the skills and knowledge he has obtained representing a wide variety of clients, from Fortune 100 companies to individuals, on a broad range of sophisticated matters such as complex contracts, fraud and breach of fiduciary duty, securities, lender liability, commercial leases and mortgages, tax, employment, estates, bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, and trademark and unfair competition.
